Hampton Inn Springfield

Can't recommend highly enough for a brief stop-in

Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and convenient location made my stay enjoyable, especially with the easily accessible fitness center for a quick workout and the reliable Wi-Fi that kept me connected .

Staff was friendly and helpful. Pillows were wonderful and bed was soft. A/C was nice and cool although a bit on the noisy side. Location was perfect for traveling to Westcott House (Frank Lloyd Wright museum).

There was an ant crawling on the nightstand. The refrigerator was frozen over and useless, although the staff was helpful in replacing it quickly with a working refrigerator. The Kleenex box was nearly empty, front desk replaced it. Quality of bath gel and shampoo was mediocre. Window could have been bigger.

great access to parks, restaurants, and city landmarks

The staff provided great service , and I loved how close I was to the beautiful Mad River Gorge Nature Preserve , made for a fantastic morning stroll. It was an easy walk to some great local dining options like Cracker Barrel just a few steps away.

Full-time beverage station in the lobby and ease of wifi connectivity. Decor was updated and very attractive. Far enough from the highway, but still very accessible. Several restaurants nearby.

We had a very nice stay in town for a business trip.

The staff provided great service . The room was spacious, and I appreciated having a coffee maker to start my mornings. With the included amenities, I found it easy to stay connected with the free Wi-Fi. Staying here reminded me of my travel days back in Italy, where hospitality is key. I did notice some areas need attention, like the cleanliness in certain spots within the hotel.

Location was good, only 15 minutes from Cedarville Univerisity where our daughter attends. Good church across the street is convenient on Sunday morning. Have stayed at a nearby hotel but find the Hampton's breakfast and pool to be much better. Lady running the breakfast was very friendly and helpful, unlike some places we have stayed in the past. Wish we would have tried it sooner.

Would like a TV package that features more channels, including TCM.

Loud music outside made me uneasy at night.

Everything was very nice, the staff, the meals. the room was very clean and the bed was great.

Water presurre and shower head on the fourth floor not the best but for sure not the worst.

Location so close to Springfield, OH and interstate and food places and all the Antique malls & restaurants nearby. A great selection of goodies for breakfast. The pool area is nice too.

Make sure to ask for a room away from the main street to avoid any noise disturbances during your stay.

All of it - we arrived after 8-hour drive, tired, and walked into welcoming, bright clean foyer with friendly staff. Comfortable room, nice pool, great breakfast - a great, relaxing stop. Will look for this chain on next visit.

Nothing

Staff was excellent. Room immaculate. Bathroom was HUGE (!) , great nite lite in there and wonderful soaps. Bed comfy, breakfast hot/cold and plentiful. Even though it seemed pretty booked, it was quite and restful. From now on, there is my hotel of choice in Springfield.

My only suggestion is a more private place for the public computer. Most locations have a business center, a small room. This computer was at the elevators and everyone could see other guests reading their very visible E mails.
